Senator Jeff Flake (R-AZ) is sponsoring legislation (S.368) that would take management of Mexican gray wolves out of the hands of scientists and place it in the grasp of people intent on hindering the species' recovery. Please help us oppose this measure!

Management of sensitive species should be based on science, not politics. Unfortunately, law-makers consistently try to impose politics into management decisions in an effort to impede species recovery for the purpose of benefiting special interests. Flakes measure is no exception. It would give the states of Arizona and New Mexico, as well as ranchers, the ability to dictate terms of wolf recovery.
