Tell Amazon.com: Protect the real Amazon!

End Amazon crude!
Amazon.com and its CEO Jeff Bezos are in the news daily. In fact, it’s gotten so most people think about the company first and only remember the rainforest later (if at all). And even fewer are aware that Amazon.com’s delivery trucks use fuel drilled from the Amazon rainforest. That needs to change, and it’s Amazon.com’s responsibility to help.
TELL AMAZON.COM TO PROTECT THE REAL AMAZON!
The Amazon rainforest is severely threatened and could collapse if influential companies like Amazon.com continue to look the other way when purchasing fuel for their fleets. Oil drilling in the Amazon drives deforestation, threatens the survival of indigenous peoples, and contributes to runaway climate change.
It is unacceptable for Amazon.com to benefit from the "brand" of the Amazon while contributing to its destruction. It’s time for Amazon.com to extend its innovative spirit to protecting the Amazon rainforest and the global climate.
Amazon.com should use its influence for good by cutting its use of fuel made from Amazon crude, investing in vehicles powered by renewable energy, and speaking out about the importance of protecting the real Amazon.
